When will the new theme be announced? The theme for the 2012 FRIGGA award will be announced at the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology Congress (ESHRE) 2011, in Stockholm.
When can I apply for FRIGGA 2012 Once the new theme has been announced in 2011.
When is the closing date for 2012 applicants? 31st March 2012. When will the successful applicants be announced? The announcement of the successful applicants will take place at the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology Congress (ESHRE) 2012. When will the winner and unsuccessful applicants be notified? Once the two successful proposals have been selected we will notify all applicants, including those which were unsuccessful. When does the research for the 2012 award need to be completed by? The research must be completed by 31st January 2014. Where and how do I send the completed application form? An application form can be found within the ‘Apply’ section of this site. The application form must be completed in English by the lead applicant. All mandatory supplementary information must be attached to this form as saveable word documents before submitting. Application entry is not currently open. Who is judging the award? The FRIGGA award will be judged by an international panel of experts. How much is the grant for? Two grants of €50,000 are available. How will I know whether you have received my grant application form? Once we have received your application, you will receive an automated response to confirm the successful submission of your proposal. What supplementary information do I need to attach to my application form? The following mandatory supplementary information should be attached to the application form as saveable word documents:
- A list of references of published research carried out by the individual researcher OR research unit/department
- Biographies of research team members
- Credentials for the academic institution which plans to support the research
Regrettably all applications and supplementary information will not be returned to applicants.
